Warehouse Stationery is introducing a new product which
help the company meet their sustainability goals. What is the
product?
Warehouse Stationery is introducing a new product which will move another step towards the company's sustainability goals .
They are making paper from wheat straw and furniture off to save trees.
Wheat paper, which looks and behaves like ordinary copy paper is made in India from the stalks of grains left over from India's crop harvests.
I think this will be great for the environment. What do you think?
Kia Ora,
ReplyDeleteI'm Grace a Year 8 at Yaldhurst Model School,
What a wonderful blog post,
I think this is great blog post and you explained about the Wheat paper well.
I think that this is a great idea, I never knew that they were coming out with that, I think they are setting a good idea for other companies to start to use Wheat paper instead of paper trees.
Maybe next time you could make it a DLO?
Aswell explain more of what you think of the wheat paper and more of an impact it might have.
I think its eye catching to have a photo so if someone doesn't know what Warehouse Stationery is they have a picture to see the logo.
I think it will be great for the environment too and will have a big impact on the trees when it comes in store, hopefully other companies will use it too,
What do you think will happen when it comes in stores? Maybe it becomes a big thing or companies will use it?
Kind regards
- Grace
Hi Skyla
ReplyDeleteHow are you doing during this Level 4 lockdown? I hope there are some fun things happening at your house!
Great post about the things that Warehouse stationary are doing to help the planet. I saw a photo the other day of a street in India. Normally you cant see there because the smog is too bad but you could see a long way and even see the blue sky! amazing times!
Remember to check out the Totara site for some fun things to do or Mrs P's site too.
I look forward to seeing some of your work over the next few weeks, even maybe some things you might make in the kitchen or art?
Talk again soon
Mrs Costello :)
Kia ora Skylah, I did not know any of this news so thanks for helping me to understand about wheat paper. It is good to see big companies take a lead in protecting our resources and trying new ideas. I like the way you invited readers to post their opninions.
